BUS & COACH

Purosil works with our Bus and Coach customers to collaborate on designs of Silicone hoses and complete hose assemblies for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Battery Electric (BEV), and Hydrogen Fuel Cell designs.   We understand the need for constant improvement, re-design and adaptation to evolving technologies, and the critical nature of air and thermal management systems for these vehicles.  Many of our Bus and Coach customers are moving away from EPDM to more and more Silicone hoses as they consider the need for both high quality leak-proof hoses and assemblies, and the high costs of coolant leaks and spills.

New coolants are also driving new material requirements in hose design, as Bus and Coach manufacturers use variations of organic acid technology (OAT) coolants, or as they seek low electrical conductivity in their system.
